Seasons:
Around Ganesh Himal and Sing-la Pass trekking best times from March to May, where most days are clear for mountain views with beautiful with wild flowers in bloom especially rhododendron of various colors (national flower of Nepal).
September to November during autumn / fall most days are fine and clear for breathtaking views of peaks and landscapes, but with short sunlight hours where temperatures can drop to freezing cold with chances of snow above 1,800 m high.

Around Ganesh Himal and Sing-la Pass trekking delights and fascinates travelers as walk leads you into serene wilderness of high mountains of Ganesh Himal within enchanting woodland of tall rhododendron and pine trees.
On this scenic and magnificent walks Around Ganesh Himal and Sing-la Pass trekking where you can catch incredible panorama from Ganesh Himal (Yangra) (7,405 m) Mt. Manaslu at 8,163 m, with Annapurna I (8,091m) in the far west includes Annapurna South (7,219m), towards east view of Langtang Lirung (7,234) extends towards Jugal Himal range to far Dorje Lakpa (6,980 m).
Walk begins after an interesting drive North West of Kathmandu and trek starts following rural farm villages trail and into deep forest to cross high and scenic Shing-la pass located beyond villages and human settlement in complete wilderness.
As adventure progress heading back into low warmer farm villages after being in remote corners of Ganesh Himal area, finally ending our scenic and lovely walk to reach at Dhading town for short interesting drive back to Kathmandu, after a great remarkable adventure Around Ganesh Himal and Sing-la Trekking. 
 

Outline Itinerary

Day 01:    Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02:    In Kathmandu with tour around world heritage sites.
Day 03:    Drive to Bhalche or Thulo-Gaon 1,850 m via Trisuli Bazaar- 06 hrs.
Day 04:    Trek to Rupchet 2,850 m - 06 hrs.
Day 05:    Cross Sing la pass 4,045 m and camp at the base 3,240m - 05 hrs.
Day 06:    Trek to Shertung 1,920 m or Chalis-Gaon 1,674 m - 05 hrs.
Day 07:    Trek to Nebar 2,020 m via Tatopani (hot-spring) - 05 hrs.
Day 08:    Trek to Lapa-Gaon 1,850 m via Timal Danda and Lapchet - 05 hrs.
Day 09:    Trek to Ri-Gaon 1,550 m via Bramachet Danda (ridge) - 06 hrs.
Day 10:    Trek to Phul-Kharka 1,210 m - 06 hrs.
Day 11:    Trek to Jyamrung-Danda and at Chap Bhanjyang 1,550 m - 06 hrs.
Day 12:    Trek to Dhading Besi 950 m via Gola and Murli Bhanjyang - 05 hrs.
Day 13:    Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel - 07 hrs.
Day 14:    International Departure Homeward bound.
 

Day 01:    Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

On landing at Kathmandu and Nepal international airport received by our guide and staff for short transfer to your hotel in the centre of Kathmandu, where our guide / leader briefs you of the treks with full information required to make your time in Nepal enjoyable.

Day 02:    In Kathmandu with tour around world heritage sites.

Another day in Kathmandu where one can join in for interesting tour as Kathmandu steeped with historical and famous religious place listed in world heritage sites, rest of the afternoon free and preparation for Around Ganesh Himal and Sing-la Pass trekking.

Day 03:    Drive to Bhalche or Thulo-Gaon 1,850 m via Trisuli Bazaar- 06 hrs.

Ganesh Himal and Sing-la pass adventure begins with exciting drive heading North Mid-West from Kathmandu, as drive heads past Nuwakott and Trisuli town within warmer area.
Journey continues to Bhalche or Thulo-Gaon via Trisuli and Bhetrawati village to reach at Bhalche a hill side village which is slowly developing into a town due to the construction of motorable road, here at Bhalche or Thulo-Gaon in the comfort of local lodge or overnight camping.

Day 04:    Trek to Rupchet 2,850 m - 06 hrs.

First day walk of the adventure starts heading due northward facing great views of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu range of peaks, as walk trek progress entering into cool alpine areas, where route leads past Gumbu and Phikuri Danda ridges.
Walk leads past smaller farm villages and summer grazing area to reach a place called Rupchet located in the midst of beautiful rhododendron-oaks and pine forest where overnight camp is pitched on a nice grass meadow. 

Day 05:    Cross Sing la pass 4,045 m and camp at the base 3,240m - 05 hrs.

After nice pleasant stop at Rupchet, where fresh morning walk starts with gradual climb then with steep haul for few hours to reach on top of Sing-la pass, the highest point of the adventure at 4.045 m high.
From the top of the pass enjoy incredible panorama of rolling hills and valleys with snow-capped mountains Mt. Ganesh Himal, Manaslu in the west extends as far towards Langtang Himal in the east.
After a great glorious view descend to the base of Sing-la pass at the height of 3,240 m for overnight camp.

Day 06:    Trek to Shertung 1,920 m or Chalis-Gaon 1,674 m - 05 hrs.

Today walk leads to a nice place called Shertung and Chalis gaon (means 40 smaller villages), as morning includes super views of Ganesh Himal massive which is also known as Yangra at 7,405 m high the main peak of Ganesh group of mountains. 
From here heading into lovely cool forest surrounding around cattle herders temporary shelter, a nice grazing fields for local domestic animals, where route leads to short up and then downhill to Shertung, for refreshing stop.
After a nice stop descend for few hours to reach an impressive village of Chalis Gaon populated mostly by Tamang people, high hill tribe of Central Himalaya of Ganesh and Langtang region with strong Tibetan influence in origin and culture of Buddhist religion.

Day 07:    Trek to Nebar 2,020 m via Tatopani (hot-spring) - 05 hrs.

Morning walk with short climb towards Tikka Danda a high scenic ridge with grand views of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu range of mountains, from here  downhill to place of Tatopani (hot-spring), here with time to enjoy refreshing moment with hot bathe.
After nice pleasant stop at Tatopani head towards Nebar for overnight stop in a small farm area in the middle of no-where in perfect wilderness of beautiful forest and views of peaks.

Day 08:    Trek to Lapa-Gaon 1,850 m via Timal Danda and Lapchet - 05 hrs.

After wonderful morning within pristine surroundings head south west over Timal Danda and at Kapur a small farm village with marvelous views of hills and mountains and then reach at Lapchet, from here few hours walk reaches you at Lapa-Gaon for overnight stop and camping around its farm fields.

Day 09:    Trek to Ri-Gaon 1,550 m via Bramachet Danda (ridge) - 06 hrs.

From here walk enters within beautiful Ruby Valley as route follows past Kachet and Kichet to reach at another place with same name as Rupchet, a small farm village and then walk into lovely woodland facing views of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal peaks, a nice walk of longer hours to reach at Ri-Gaon for overnight stop, camping on a school yard or on farm terraces.

Day 10:    Trek to Phulkharka 1,210 m - 06 hrs.

From here head south around Dhading district within much warmer area as walk leads to lower altitude on every hour of the treks heading past scattered farm villages of Kutawa-Arukhet-Bandhan-Cheelang to reach a nice village at Gumdi.
From Gumdi a short uphill to Dhangarchol at 1,403 m high with fabulous views of snow-clad peaks and then descend to Phulkharka after a small place of Tinkune.
On reaching Phulkhraka for overnight camp, this camp offers great views of green hills and valley with mountain range.

Day 11:    Trek to Jyamrung-Danda and at Chap Bhanjyang 1,550 m - 06 hrs.

Today an interesting walk as route leads further low southward into warm areas of paddy terraces and fields, walk to Dansing village and then at Su Bhanjyang heading south to Ekle finally reaching a large well maintained village of Hatiyakot.
From here walk to Chissa pani with downhill to Ankhu Khola (stream) and climb over Jyamrung Danda ridge with short descend to reach our overnight camp at Chap Bhanjyang.

Day 12:    Trek to Dhading Besi 950 m via Gola and Murli Bhanjyang - 05 hrs.

After a wonderful overnight stop at Chap Bhanjyang with grand views of mountain and rolling green hills, last day walk of the adventure leads to low warm areas as vegetation changes from alpine to semi-tropical plants.
As walk leads past many farm villages of Gola and Murli Bhanjyang area to reach large town at Dhading Besi for last overnight on the foot hills of Ganesh Himal area, overnight stop in tourist standard hotels with last farewell dinner among staff and porters.

Day 13:    Drive back to Kathmandu 1,310 m - 05 hrs. 

Morning drive leads to Trisuli River near at Malekhu town, after crossing a bridge with few hours’ drive back to Kathmandu, as drive leads past many towns and villages with last climb to Nag Dhunga to enter Kathmandu valley and the city area. On reaching Kathmandu back into your hotel with afternoon free for shopping and individual activities. 

Day 14:    International Departure Homeward bound.  

Last day in the country of high Himalaya and with great memory of exciting experience around Ganesh Himal and Sing-la Pass Trekking, and then transfer to Kathmandu / Nepal international airport for on ward flight to respective destinations or homeward bound.
