Seasons:
Manaslu Circuit trekking best times from March to May, where most days are clear for mountain views with beautiful with wild flowers in bloom especially rhododendron of various colors (national flower of Nepal).
September to early November during autumn / fall most days are fine and clear for breathtaking views of peaks and landscapes, but with short sunlight hours where temperatures can drop to freezing cold with chances of snow above 1,800 m high.

A great journey of two week duration takes you to high country within impressive views of high mountain range and dramatic landscapes in the harmony of colorful cultures of Manaslu people.
Manaslu Circuit Adventure which was once closed for outside visitors and then opened its door where at present travelers can visit and enjoy marvelous views and interesting cultures.
Mt. Manaslu rises at the height of 8,163 m and 26,781 ft high ranks as world 8th highest peaks which was first climbed by Japanese Expedition way back in May 09th 1956, since then it was a forbidden country till it was opened past two decades.
Manaslu Circuit Adventure begins with interesting overland journey to reach around Nepal Mid-West within historical area of Gorkha district and then heading towards high cooler hills after walking past low-warm paddy fields and farm villages.
After few days walk takes you around much higher terrain where vegetation changes along with alpine temperatures on reaching at high and scenic Manaslu valley with enjoyable moments having rest and acclimatization days exploring the local village immense culture and custom.
Finally trek lead to our final and major highlights to cross over Larke-La pass the highest spot of the adventure where you will be engulfed with tremendous views of beautiful scenery overlooking array of peaks of Manaslu-Ganesh with Annapurna range.
Slowly walk comes to an end after a great traverse on reaching Manang area where popular and famous Annapurna circuit joins at Dharapani village, and then our walk completes taking an exciting long drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
On landing at Kathmandu and Nepal international airport received by our guide and staff for short transfer to your hotel in the centre of Kathmandu, where our guide / leader briefs you of the treks with full information required to make your time in Nepal enjoyable.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with tour around world heritage sites.
Another day in Kathmandu where one can join in for interesting tour as Kathmandu steeped with historical and famous religious place listed in world heritage sites, rest of the afternoon free and preparation for Manaslu Circuit Adventure.
Day 03: Drive to Soti-Khola 700 m - 06 hrs
Morning transfer for long interesting drive heading Nepal Mid-West Himalaya, as journey leads on main mountain highway overlooking views of mountains and hills, heading past rural farm villages and town to reach at Arughat around Gorkha district.
From here another hour ride reaches at Soti-Khola village for overnight stop in this small village and slowly developing into a town.
Day 04: Trek to Machha-Khola 869 m -04 hrs
First day walks begins within steep valley around forest and past many small villages that lines the hillside, walk continues on a wide valley opposite to a large tributary stream that joins with Burigandaki River.
Nice views of cultivated terrace of Lapbesi upper village as walk descend to a wide, sandy riverbed as walk follows path that meanders below a steep, craggy valley side.
As walk progress climb to Machha Khola for overnight stop, another small farm village with teashops and nice simple small lodge for overnight accommodation, the word Maccha means Fish so the village got the name as Machha Khola (stream).
Day 05: Trek to Jagat 1,340 m- 05hrs.
From Machha-Khola heading across many interesting farm villages with neat cultivated fields, where vegetation changes slowly as altitude gains with cooler temperatures, morning walk comes across a stream where Machha Khola (Fish stream) name comes from.
Walk continues upstream to reach Bensi village a place with natural hot spring known as ‘Tatopani’ in Nepali.
As journey continues where valley becomes turns into a narrow and steeper gorge, where trail switches to cross a suspension bridge, after a short period of walks enter into cool shade of forest to reach at Doban located on high shelf of Burigandaki River.
After short refreshing stops walk on broad gravel field towards Lauri stream and then cross a bridge that leads to climb on higher path then descending into a open valley at Yara Khola, walk continues for another hour to reach at Jagat village for overnight stop.
Jagat a nice and interesting farm village of moderate size; people are of mix race from Magar, Chettries, Brahman, Manaslu Bhotia (Tibetan looking tribes) and with some Newar people.
Day 06: Trek to Deng 1,860 m- 05hrs
From Jagat village, walk heads on higher side of a hill past rural farm villages and then descend and cross over a bridge to Nagjet walk leads past another nice Philim, a large farm village with scattered houses.
After Philim walk around farm terraces of golden agriculture fields of wheat, barley, as climb leads above a rocky ridge within forest of bamboo to reach at Deng village for overnight stop.
Day 07: Trek to Namrung 2,630 m -05hrs.
After a pleasant overnight stop at Deng, morning walk heading into much cooler area, where journey continues for few hours on steep sided around scenic valley, encountering many Mani prayer stone walls to reach at Ghap a nice village with stop for possible lunch break.
After Ghap where altitude gain slowly to enter into coniferous woodland as path meanders to steep climb then valley opens out with extensive pastures and cross a large stream flowing from the glacier of Lidana.
On route enjoy views of Manaslu where local name is Kutang (Manaslu) Himal range includes Pang Phuchin 6,335m, Saula Himal 6,235m with many unnamed peaks of above 6000m.
Walk from here with slow climb as altitude gains past farm village to reach at Namrung for overnight stop, a village with other name as Sho Namru.
Day 08: Trek to Lo-Gaon 3,180 m - 05 hrs.
Enjoying overnight stops at Namrung, morning walk heads into more spread out farm fields with Yak herder huts and shelter, around high Manaslu valley people are much engaged in farming during summer, where young folks in winter travels to big cities of Nepal and India for trade and to escape the freezing cold winter.
From here walk leads to high and scenic valley all the way to Lho Gaon a nice village for overnight stop, an attractive villages of high Manaslu valley, at Lho-Gaon enjoy close views of towering Manaslu North Face.
At Lho-Gaon visit the monastery, numerous chhorten and Mani walls with views of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal towards east.
Day 09: Trek to Sama- Gaon 3,520m / 11,548 ft - 05hrs
From Lo-Gaon walk on nice gradual trail as altitude gains gradually with slow climb and enjoying great views of Peak 29 ahead, after few hours walk into a small forest at Shala village offers views of Phungi, Manaslu and Himal Chuli.
Walk for some hours further as day ends on reaching Sama-Gaon a village with closest views of Mt. Manaslu.
Day 10: At Sama-Gaon rest day to explore around
Free day at Sama-Gaon village which is a important at this height to support with acclimatization before reaching high Larke-La pass.
On this day explore around scenic area and visit old Monastery of Nyligpa (red hat sect) sect of Buddhism, where local of high Manaslu valley migrated from South West Tibet some 400 years back where custom and culture of ancient Buddhist heritage similar to its origin Tibetan predecessor.
The local villagers are still active trading and bartering across the border with Tibet which is a day walk for the locals to reach Nepal and Tibet frontier, which is an on old Trans Himalayan Salt Trade route of the two countries.
Day 11: Trek to Samdo 3,875m - 05 hrs.
After pleasant and wonderful time at Sama-Gaon, morning a short walk of more than four hours to reach at Samdo the last village of Gorkha and Manaslu area, heading with slow climb as elevation gains taking time with short break to enjoy wonderful views of peaks with dramatic landscapes.
As walk continues to end at Samdo village where short climb takes you to a high and small plateau where Samdo village located, a moderate size village of more than forty houses with about two hundred villagers living on this high harsh country.
Day 12: Trek to Dharmasala 4,460 m - 04 hrs.
On leaving the last village of Upper Manaslu area within high Gorkha district where walk heads to the end of a valley, overlooking views of snow capped peaks and of Mt. Manaslu.
Walk continues to cross few icy streams and then reaching at Larke Phedi which means the bottom of a hill or a pass, also called Dharmasala ‘a travelers rest house and shade’.
In early days this place was known as Larke Bazaar, (where trade and bartering took place between the merchant and traders of Gorkha-Manaslu-Manang people with Tibetan on this remote isolated spot).
At Larke Phedi afternoon free for short walks as well preparation for next early morning long climb to high Larke-La pass to reach around Manang area.
Day 13: Cross Larke-La Pass 5,106 m and to Bhimthang 3,590 m - 07 hrs.
After overnight rest at Larke Phedi, early morning start at the break of dawn
where route lead to steep climb past Dharmasala, then walk over moraine of
rocks and boulders (in snow conditions tough to find the right path).
As walk continues past ablation over north of Larke glacier along with views of Cho Danda and Larke Peak, where climb gets steeper to reach top of Larke-la, the pass marked with thousands of Buddhist colorful prayer flags.
From the top enjoy panorama of Himlung, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru and Annapurna II includes series of Manaslu peaks. Enjoying mind-blowing views and then a long downhill to reach back into green vegetation and tree lines as route leads past a small place of Larcia, walk continues over moraine ridge to Tambuche at 3,900m, which is at the bottom of the pass, where another hour walk reached you at Bhimthang for overnight. Bhimthang a wonderful spot located on a wide green valley with number of lodges adorned with prayer Mani walls, surrounded by green tall trees of rhododendron-pines and oaks.
Day 14: Trek to Gho 2,760 m - 05 hrs.
From Bhimthang rest of the journey is easier on downhill path with few short climb on route to Gho and Dharapani villages, morning wake up with views of peaks, the on gradual walk into thick alpine woodland.
Route leads into serene forest to reach a small clearing in the midst of woodland at Gho, a small cattle and yak herder summer pasture at present a temporary settlement with few simple good lodges for trekkers to stay overnight.
Day 15: Trek to Dharapani 1,963 m -05 hrs.
Morning walk follows downhill through forest to reach a nice village at Tilje village, a nice place by the raging Marysangdi River, after a refreshing stop walk to cross over a suspension bridge, and the with steep climb for an hour to reach at large and nice lovely village at Dharapani.
Where famous and popular Annapurna Circuit trail and Manaslu Circuit route joins, Dharapani located on a river gorge with lovely tree lines where motorable has reached past few years, the village provides excellent lodges.
Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel - 07 hrs.
After marvelous adventure on Manaslu Circuit, at Dharapani village our walk completes then taking a morning long drive from Dharapani following Marysangdi River downstream for sometime past Tal Besi-Chamje and Jagat villages, and then downhill to low warm country and back into paddy fields to reach at large town of Besisar, headquarter of Lamjung district.
From Besisar on good road where our final adventure completes after a overland journey to Kathmandu as drive heads along towns and farm villages to join on the main highway of Kathmandu and Pokhara at Dumre town.
From here on good smooth road past Mugling Bazaar following Trisuli River upstream for an hour and then heading on winding zig-zag uphill to reach at the valley rim and then ending our marvelous Manaslu Circuit adventure on reaching your hotel.
Day 17: International Departure Homeward bound.
Last day in the country of high Himalaya and with great memory of exciting experience on Manaslu Circuit Adventure, transfer to Kathmandu / Nepal international airport for on ward flight to respective destinations or homeward bound.
