Trip Overview


Standing at a height of 8167m, Mount Dhawalagiri is the world’s seventh-highest mountain, extends 120km from the Kali Gandaki river west to the Bheri, meaning ‘White Mountain’ in Sanskrit, the first ascent in 1960 by a Swiss/Austrian/Nepali expedition. Dhaulagiri’s peak extends for thirty miles, giving structure to a generally tangled topography of winding edges, icy masses, and ice falls. Expedition of Mount Dhawalagiri is considered interesting peaks with six different routes having an enormous peak of shinning ices and snows which makes your trek more exciting and wonderful.

Dhawalagiri, separated from Annapurna by Kali Gandaki gorge, the deepest gorge in the world, situated in the remote places of Nepal. The climb needs a high degree of physical fitness and the best quality of physical equipment and the strong wind at high altitude can make climbing more difficult.

Trekking in Dhaulagiri provides massive mountains range of Dhaulagiri consisting of fifteen 7000 meter peaks is magnificent. Trekking of the main paths is not only possible but can be immensely rewarding, though you do need a sense of adventure and an increased ability to deal with unexpected. Geographically, it is a land of dramatic contrast. Trekking around the giant Himalayan Peak Dhaulagiri (7th highest Himalayan Peaks of the world) is one of the most challenging treks. The trek goes through big challenging mountain passes, crossing over French pass (5360 meters) and Thapa Pass (5200 meters); It is a challenging walk on an icy track. The massive mountains range of Dhaulagiri consisting of fifteen 7000 meter peaks is magnificent. Trekking of the main paths is not only possible but can be immensely rewarding, though you do need a sense of adventure and an increased ability to deal with unexpected. Geographically, it is a land of dramatic contrast.

Trekking in this region means an exploration of the wild. Recently reopened this thrilling region shows its long-kept secrets, like the Gandaki Gorge, the deepest Gorge in the world !! Dhaulagiri means “white mountain” though many mountains over the world have names which translate to white mountain, this is, without doubt, the most astonishing one.

  14.     Flight fare for member and staff (Jomsom - Pokhara).
  15.     Insurance, equipment allowance, wages and daily allowance for expedition staffs.
  16.     All camping equipments: sleeping tents, mattress, dining tent, toilet tent, mess tent, store tent, table & chairs and other necessary kitchen utensils whilst on     trekking and expedition.
  17.     Group climbing equipment such as necessary fixed rope, ice screws, ice bars etc.
  18.     First Aid kit bag, trekking map & duffel bag.
  19.     Solar panel at the base camp.
  20.     Restop toilet bag.
  21.     Satalite phone (Pay Call).
  22.     Walkie Talkie for each staff and member.
  23.     Mountain cans cleaning at high camps.
