Seasons:
Nar Phu and Semi Annapurna Circuit trekking best times from April and May, where most days are clear for mountain views with beautiful with wild flowers in bloom especially rhododendron of various colors (national flower of Nepal).
September to mid November during autumn / fall days are fine and clear for breathtaking views of peaks and landscapes, but with short sunlight hours where temperatures can drop to freezing cold with chances of snow above 2,000 m high.

Introduction:
Nar Phu and Semi Annapurna Circuit trekking, an outmost adventure into far corners of Nepal North Mid-West within wildest country almost a Shangri-la where walk leads you right into isolated and scenic Nar-Phu villages enclosed within series of high mountains.
Nar Phu and Semi Annapurna Circuit trekking, where travelers will be amazed overlooking amazing scenery and fascinating age-old culture that leaves you to full excitement travelling into this far hidden areas of Himalaya.
An enjoyable and lovely fresh destination around Nepal Himalaya which was closed for many centuries, has flung the door wide open for visitors to immerse into its beautiful landscapes and villages of great interest.
Nar Phu and Semi Annapurna Circuit trekking begins after driving from Kathmandu to low warm areas of Lamjung district around Nepal Mid-West where walk leads on the same trail of famous Annapurna circuit trail for some days then route diverts to high above Manang valley and beyond Annapurna mountain range.
Walk leads into serene path into a river gorge covered with green forest of rhododendron-pines then entering into a wide scenic valley at Phu village takes you back into medvial era where ancient traditions of farm life still exists on this wild and harsh country.
At Phu exploring its village and old monasteries of great interest and then heading towards Nar adjoining village of few days walk apart, smaller than Phu with same culture and traditional life, where adventure leads you at the end of Nar-Phu area to cross high Kang-la pass to reach back at Annapurna circuit trail that joins at Manang village.
A great difference after being in remote corners at Nar and Phu and then on at popular route at Manang valley and villages that provides nice lodge facilities for trekkers along with fabulous scenery of snow capped peaks that enclosed the valley.
Walk further at the end of Manang valley where climb leads over high Thorang-la pass the top most spot of the adventure where the pass offers marvelous views of Annapurna-Chulus with Damodar Himal with massive range of Dhaulagiri Mountains.
From the pass a long descend to reach at the bottom of the pass and on good trail to holy Muktinath, a sacred place and important pilgrimage place for Hindu religion, and then finally completing our adventurous walks on reaching at Jomsom, headquarter town of Mustang area located on old Trans Himalayan Salt Trade Route of Nepal and Tibet.
From Jomsom a short scenic flight brings you at picturesque Pokhara to conclude our remarkable adventure and experience on Nar Phu and Semi Annapurna Circuit Trekking.

Day 01:    Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02:    In Kathmandu with tour around world heritage sites.
Day 03:      Drive to Syange 1,140m via Besisar 820 m - 06 hrs.
Day 04:      Trek to Dharapani 1,943m - 06 hrs.
Day 05:      Trek to Kotto 2,645 m near Chame 2,720m - 05 hrs.
Day 06:      Trek to Dharmasala 3,230 m - 05 hrs.
Day 07:      Trek to Kyang 3, 020 m - 05 hrs.
Day 08:      Trek to Phu village 4,080 m - 06 hrs.
Day 09:      At Phu village rest day for acclimatization and local excursion.
Day 10:      Trek to Nar Phedi 3, 545 m - 06 hrs.
Day 11:      Trek to Nar-Gaon 4,206 m - 06 hrs.
Day 12:      Trek to Kang La Base Camp 4,530 m - 05 hrs.
Day 13:       Cross Kang-La Pass 5, 322 m trek to Ngawal 3,650 m - 07 hrs.
Day 14:      Trek to Manang 3,540m- 04 hrs.
Day 15:       Trek to Yak Kharka 4,210m - 04 hrs.
Day 16:       Trek to Thorang- La High Camp or Phedi 4,450m - 04 hrs.
Day 17:       Trek to Muktinath 3,800 m via Thorang-la 5,416 m / 17,769 ft -06 hrs.
Day 18:       Trek to Jomsom 2,715- 04 hrs
Day 19:       From Jomsom fly to Pokhara and transfer to hotel (22 mins via air). 
Day 20:       Drive or Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 21:       International Departure Homeward bound.
 

Day 01:    Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

On landing at Kathmandu and Nepal international airport received by our guide and staff for short transfer to your hotel in the centre of Kathmandu, where our guide / leader briefs you of the treks with full information required to make your time in Nepal enjoyable.

Day 02:    In Kathmandu with tour around world heritage sites.

Another day in Kathmandu where one can join in for interesting tour as Kathmandu steeped with historical and famous religious place listed in world heritage sites, rest of the afternoon free and preparation for Nar-Phu and Semi Annapurna Circuit trekking.

Day 03:      Drive to Syange 1,140m via Besisar 820 m - 06 hrs.

Start morning overland drive in a bus or coach and cars as per group size where long interesting journey takes you to low warmer areas of Nepal Mid-West around Lamjung district at Besisar, the main town of Lamjung and continue drive following Marysangdi River upstream to end the drive for overnight stop at Syange village.

Day 04:      Trek to Dharapani 1,943m - 06 hrs.

From Syange our first day walk starts with climb to reach at nice village of Jagat and then reaching at Chamje with more Tibetan origin people of high Manang with strong Buddhism religion and culture.
After Chamje cross over Marysangdi River where walk leads through cool forest to reach at nice Tal Besi village with possible lunch stop, and then walk continues for few hours to reach at large village of Dharapani for overnight stop.

Day 05:      Trek to Kotto 2,645 m near Chame 2,720m - 05 hrs.

Morning walk leads on winding uphill into lovely woodland of rhododendron and pine trees heading past Bagarchap and Danaque within apple country facing views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal.
From here steep climb to Timang village for lunch stop overlooking views of Manaslu and Annapurna range of peaks, afternoon walk leads to nice gradual path to reach at Koto for overnight stop, which is close to Chame the headquarter town of Manang district.

Day 06:     Trek to Dharmasala 3,230 m - 05 hours.

On leaving the main Annapurna circuit trail, where route diverts into narrow valley within forest of pines and rhododendron trees, then reaching nice pasture fields with huts and sheds of Yak herders and in the gorge formed by Pisang Peak and Kang-guru Himal lower basin, walk continues following Nar-Phu River upstream to reach Dharmasala for overnight stop.

Day 07:     Trek to Kyang 3, 020 m - 05 hours.

From here walk north to Phu village within isolated area in the country of dry and arid landscapes, walk continues to reach at Kyang for overnight stop after an interesting day, Kyang with dozen houses of Tibetan culture.

Day 08:     Trek to Phu village 4,080 m - 06hours.

Today walk reaches at Phu village as walk continues to Phu River following a river for some time and then climb to reach a gorge for few hours then reaching a wide glacial valley with pasture lands at Phu village of strong Tibetan influence culture, traditions and religion.

Day 09:     Rest day in Phu village for acclimatization and side walk.

Rest day at Phu for acclimatization, explore impressive village and Tashilkhang with Samdu Choling Monasteries and Kyauchyu waterfalls, Phu Village.

Day 10:     Trek to Nar Phedi 3, 545 m - 06 hrs.

From Phu village walk back on the same trail for few hours then descend to a narrow gorge at Phu khola, from here a slow climb to reach at Yughat small village with chhorten a Buddhist shrines, then reaching a flat field at Nar Phedi for overnight stop.

Day 11:     Trek to Nar-Gaon 4,206 m - 06 hrs.

Morning walk leads to Phu Khola for few hours to reach a suspension bridge over Phu Khola, crossing the bridge with steep climb for few hours reaching a flat area then walk to Nar village for overnight.

Day 12:     Trek to Kang La Base Camp 4,530 m - 05 hrs.

After Nar-Gaon walk to remote areas an interesting walk for few hours and then taking short ups and downs in some rocky and arid path, past cattle herder shelters heading further west following Temdenzon Khola (stream) facing views of snow peaks to reach Kang la pass base for overnight camp at above 4,530 m high.

Day 13:     Cross Kang-La Pass 5, 322 m trek to Ngawal 3,650 m - 07 hrs.

Adventure starts early morning to cross Kang-la at above 5,322 m, climb on steep slope along with views of Pisang and Chulus peaks, then finally reach on top rewards you with fantastic views of Annapurna, Chulu Peaks, Lamjung Himal and adjoining peak range.
After enjoying views and rest then on steep downhill to Ngawal past Julu village for overnight stop on route Manang village to join back on main Annapurna circuit trail.

Day 14:     Trek to Manang Village 3,450 m - 05 hrs.

After crossing high Kangla pass that separates Manang and Nar-Phu high valley, morning walk down to Humde village, continue towards Braga village and with visit of old monastery facing panorama of snow capped mountains. 
After a wonderful time in the monastery, an hour walk leads to main Manang village for overnight.

Day 15:       Trek to Yak Kharka 4,210m - 04 hrs.

Today a short walk beyond Manang village with glorious panorama of high snow capped mountains as walk reached a small settlement at Yak Kharka for overnight and lunch stop with views of Gangapurna and Chulu West peaks.

Day 16:       Trek to Thorang- La High Camp or Phedi 4,450m - 04 hrs.

Another short day walks as altitude wise heading closer to the bottom of high Thorang-La pass within complete wilderness of high rocky hills and snow capped mountains, slow climb leads at Phedi for short rest and then climb for an hour on steep hill to reach at High Camp of Thorang-la pass for lunch and overnight stop. 

Day 17:  Trek to Muktinath 3,800 m via Thorang-la 5,416 m / 17,769 ft -06 hrs.

Morning walk starts early to cross highest spot of the adventure at Thorang-la after steep winding climb then reaching on top marked with signboard and thousands of Buddhists colorful prayer flags.
Enjoy breathtaking panorama of mountain range of Damodar, Annapurna and Chulus peaks with Dhaulagiri towards west direction, from here a long descend takes to the bottom of the pass, and then on good gradual walk to reach at holy place of Muktinath a temple dedicated to Hindu lord Vishnu.
At Muktinath for overnight stop within scenic Mustang area overlooking views of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri’s peaks.

Day 18:    Trek to Jomsom 2,715- 04 hrs

After a hard tough day of previous walk to Thorang-la pass, where morning leads on easy winding downhill trail to reach at Kaligandaki River valley, as walk progress reaching at large town of Jomsom for last overnight stop on high hills and valley of western Himalaya.
Jomsom headquarter of Mustang district and hub of Thakali people located on Old Trans Himalaya Salt and Caravan Route of Nepal and Tibet which extends towards Upper Mustang and beyond to Tibet border.

Day 19:    From Jomsom fly to Pokhara and transfer to hotel (22 mins via air).

After a wonderful time on high hills, within beautiful forest facing excellent Mountain views, on ending our trek where short and scenic flight takes you to Pokhara for final overnight stop in the land of beautiful scenery of Annapurna Mountains and Lake.

Day 20:    Drive or Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Morning transfer for overland drive back to Kathmandu on the same interesting highway overlooking views of Annapurna and Manaslu range of mountains, on reaching at Mugling Bazaar, head north east to reach at Kathmandu after a fascinating time on Nar and Phu and semi Annapurna circuit treks.

Day 21:    International Departure Homeward bound.

Last day in the country of high Himalaya and with great memory of exciting experience on Nar- Phu and Semi Annapurna Circuit treks, transfer to Kathmandu / Nepal international airport for on ward flight to respective destinations or homeward bound.
