Seasons:
For Rolwaling and Everest trekking will be best in April to May and from September to November months, April and May most days are clear for mountain views with beautiful wild flowers in bloom especially rhododendron of various colors (Nepal National flower).
September to November during autumn / fall where most days are fine and clear for breathtaking views of peaks and landscapes, but with short sunlight hours where temperatures can drop to freezing cold with chances of snow above 2,800 m high and on Tashi Labtsa-La pass.

Rolwaling and Everest Trekking will be a most spectacular adventure to experience in and around remote corners of high Himalaya within magnificent Rolwaling valley, where walks leads you traverse over high Tashi-Labtsa la pass the highest point of the journey.
Himalaya Asuka presents Rolwaling and Everest Trekking into isolated areas of Central and Mid Eastern Himalaya region on least explored region where few trekkers seldom use this amazing route.
The main reason of this fabulous walks is that visiting rural farm villages of Sherpa the highlanders of Rolwaling and Everest where trail leads you from low warm paddy fields to cooler alpine hills and at arctic zone of ice and glaciers.
Starting with exciting overland journey from the capital Kathmandu to Mid East around Dolkha district and its nice Charikot town with scenic views of Gaurishankar, Me lung- Tse with range of snow clad peaks.
Walk begins from low areas of Gongar small village near Tama Kosi River that flows of Gaurishankar and adjoining mountain range as well from Tibet, then enter cooler areas covered with tall rhododendron and pine trees as walk reaches you at scenic Rolwaling valley at Beding, where tree lines fades for small alpine bushes.
With time for acclimatization on rest day to explore nice traditional village of Beding and its small old monastery of great interest located within beautiful Rolwaling valley beneath might peaks of Gaurishankar and Melung Tse.
Adventure continues heading at the end of the valley enclosed within high mountains and camping close to glacial Lake of Tsho Rolpa after much rest and preparation where steep climb leads you on top of Tashi-Labtsa la pass close to Pachermo peak with views of Khumbu range of mountains.
After a tough adventure to the top and the highest spot of the trip where long descend leads you back to human life and villages at Thame, an interesting place to visit one of the oldest monastery of Khumbu area.
From Thame onward on pleasant trail within tree lines to famous Namche Bazaar the hub of Khumbu villagers, and then walk ends at busy and exciting town in Lukla where short panoramic flight brings you back to Kathmandu after a marvelous adventure and experience on Rolwaling and Everest Trekking.

Day 04: Trek to Simi-Gaon 2,000 m - 05 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Dovan 2,500 m - 06 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Beding 3,693m - 05 hrs.
Day 07: Rest day for acclimatization and short hikes.
Day 08: Trek to Na-Gaon 4,183m - 04 hrs.

On landing at Kathmandu and Nepal international airport received by our guide and staff for short transfer to your hotel in the centre of Kathmandu, where our guide / leader briefs you of the treks with full information required to make your time in Nepal enjoyable.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with tour around world heritage sites.
Another day in Kathmandu where one can join in for interesting tour as Kathmandu steeped with historical and famous religious place listed in world heritage sites, rest of the afternoon free and preparation for Rolwaling and Everest trekking.
Day 03: Drive to Gongar 1,400 m via Charikot - 07 hrs journeys.
Rolwaling to Everest via Tashi-Labtsa La Pass Trek begins with interesting drive on old Kathmandu-Lhasa highway, an interesting journey around Himalayan foothills past farm villages and towns to reach scenic Charikot town.
From here route diverts from the main Jiri road, heading towards Dolkha and upper Rolwaling area, drive leads past farm villages to warmer country to reach at Gongar, a small farm village by bank of Tama Kosi River which also falls on route to Tibet border for overnight camp after a long exciting driving journey.
Day 04: Trek to Simi-Gaon 2,000 m- 05 hrs.
Morning first day walk start heading past Tama Kosi a narrow gorge to reach at Chetchet views of magnificent waterfalls, from onward within cool area, on leaving rice paddy and sub tropical region.
Climb begins into alpine country with few hour on gradual trail to Simi-Gaon a village inhabited by Sherpa people with terraces of corns, potatoes, wheat, barley and millets.
Afternoon at leisure visit old monastery facing views of Mt. Gaurishankar and Melung Tse peaks.
Day 05: Trek to Dovan 2,850 m - 05 hrs.
From head North East as climb leads through terraced farm fields and then into enchanting rhododendron, oaks, magnolia, and pine forest past pasture area, walk continues above a hill side, and then downhill to a river through several cattle herders shades and huts to reach at Gyalche.
An hour of pleasant walk to overnight camp at Dovan, by the river that flows from the mountains high above, Dovan a small place in the middle of a forest with few houses.
Day 06: Trek to Beding 3,690m - 05 hrs.
Morning starts crossing Rolwaling khola (stream) then climb up into tranquil forest, as path winds up reaching a small place at Nyimare and Ramding farm and Sheppard’s temporary settlements, walk continues with climb then finally ending at Beding village for overnight camp, Beding village home of large Sherpa community and the last village of Rolwaling Valley.
Beding located in narrow gorge where valley opens a little ahead houses old monastery situated on top of the village, a village with primary school supported by Hillary foundation.
Day 07: Rest day for acclimatization and short hike around.
An important and necessary rest day for acclimatize before heading towards higher destinations crossing of high pass of Tashi Labtsa.
Beding village offers opportunity for short hike around village and to some high hills for best views of Mt. Gaurishankar and Melung-Tse (Jobo Garee).
Day 08: Trek to Na Gaon 4,180m - 04hrs.
Today walk to the end of beautiful Rolwaling valley beneath towering
Mt. Gaurishankar 7,145 m and Melung Tse ( Jobo Garee) peaks 7,181 m, after leaving Beding village walk on gradual up hills facing views of snow capped peaks withRamdung go 5,930 m, Chukyima go 6,259 m, Tabayabyum 5,558 m, and Yalung ri 5,630 m.
As walk progress to reach a wide glacial of Rolwaling valley enclosed by wall of snow capped mountains, after scenic walk reaching at Na Gaon, a temporary settlement of Beding people and cattle herders.
A wide summer pasture people here grows potato, wheat, barley, after lunch free catch up with dairy or take a short walk.
Day 09: Trek to Kabuk at Tsho Rolpa 4,560m - 05 hrs.
After a nice overnight at Na-Gaon, adventure carries on leading at the end of Rolwaling Valley, crossing small streams towards Sangma a yak grazing pasture area.
Cross a wooden bridge then with steep climb over moraines and streams to reach near a dam of Tsho Rolpa, this lake also called Cho Pokhari, where our camps is set on sandy level ground on the southern bank of Tsho Rolpa at Kabuk along with awesome views of Tsoboje 6,689 m and Dragker- Go 6,793 meters.
Day 10: Trek to Tashi Labtsa Base at Drolambu Glacier 5,400 m high - 05 hrs.
Morning walk continues with climb above moraine towards northern bank of Tsho Rolpo, then heading above a glacier at the centre of rocky glacier to set our campsite at the bottom of Drolambu icefall.
After setting the camp our guides will scout the area for best possible and safe approach to reach on top Tashi Labtsa -La, as path can be misleading due to movement of glacier and rock falls which happens every season of the year.
Day 11: Cross Tashi Labtsa - La 5,755 m and downhill to Thyangpo 4,230 - 08 hrs.
Today a big and adventurous day! Starting early morning before dawn heading for a climb towards glaciated section, and then to a spur with moderate climb past upper glacier.
From here onward requires ropes and ledge for trekking staffs and porters, climb to the pass is not difficult except in snow conditions, but one has to be careful avoiding some fatal accidents of loose rocks.
After checking every member of the group, staff and porters climb to the top of the pass taking more than few hours of strenuous climb to reach on top of Tashi Labtsa-La at 5,755 m high.
To reach the pass requires crampons and ice axe to make the route accessible, after a nice break enjoy super views of surrounding peaks with close peaks of Pachhermo at 6,273 meters and to the north Teng Ragi Tau at 6,940 meters.
Top of Tashi Labtsa marked with Buddhist prayer flags and cairns, journey continues from high point heading towards Khumbu and Everest region with long descend to camp at Thyangbo for overnight stop, a small summer pasture area for cattle and yaks herders of Thame and surrounding villages.
Day 12: Spare and Contingency day in case of bad weather on crossing.
To make this adventure more enjoyable with flexible day itinerary where spare or contingency day necessary around this rough and high altitude terrain, as well
with weather permitting to cross the high pass of Tashi-Labtsa la.
If all goes well using this day making the camp shorter on route Thame and Namche Bazaar with leisure walking days and to enjoy surrounding grand views of
mountains.
Day 13: Trek to Thame village 3,880 via Marlung - 06 hrs.
After completing adventurous climb over Tashi-Labtsa-La high pass where morning walk from Thyangbo or around leads to long descend to reach at sleepy
and quaint village in Thame for overnight stop.
At Thame with time for rest and visit its oldest monastery of great interest offers grand views of Kongde peaks with Pachermo towards west.
Day 14: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 05 hrs.
From Thame downhill to a river with short up and then on good winding path to Namche Bazaar, as walk enters back into green vegetation and alpine woodland of tall rhododendron and pine trees.
Walk past village of Thamo and then reaching at Namche for overnight stop before Lukla.
Day 15: Trek to Lukla 2,820 m - 06 hrs.
last day walk of the adventure where route leads downhill and with few short uphill to reach our final ending point at Lukla, on reaching Lukla transfer into a nice lodge for last overnight stop in and around Khumbu and Everest region.
Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Morning transfer to Lukla or Tenzing-Hillary airport and then fly back to Kathmandu overlooking grand panorama of Himalayan peaks with Everest and then land at Kathmandu airport, and transfer in a coach or car back to your hotels.
Day 17: Spare and Contingency day in Kathmandu.
Where flights involves around mountainous region, we are cautious that you catch your international flight on time, for this reason we have spared a day as contingency in case of flight delay and cancellation at Lukla or in the beginning due to bad weather conditions.

Day 18: International Departure Homeward bound.
Last day in the country of high Himalayas with great memory and experience of the adventure on Rolwaling and Everest trekking and then transfer to Kathmandu / Nepal international airport for on ward flight to respective destinations or homeward bound.
